Sale Tax
The Mercantile is a Nebraska Store and collects and remits Nebraska state sales tax as required by law. Also required by law, The Mercantile collects and remits state sales taxes for packages shipped to Florida and Wyoming.

Order Validation
Once we receive an order, we will check the information you gave us for validity by verifying your method of payment and shipping address. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason. If we reject your order, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you have given us with the order. Your credit card will normally not be charged if we reject the order, but we will process a refund if the charge has been made against your card.

Order Acceptance
Once we receive an order, we send out an e-mail confirmation. Your receipt of this or any other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Credit and Debit Card Processing
Credit and debit cards are not charged until we either ship the order or confirm store availability. At this time you will be charged only for the items we have actually shipped along with any appropriate taxes or shipping and handling charges. Orders for products that we have shipped directly from the manufacturer, or drop shipped, will be charged to your credit or debit card when we place the order with the manufacturer.
