Kentucky Bluegrass

Kentucky Bluegrass is the most widely used turf grass species in Nebraska. It will form a dense, medium textured, high quality turf when grown in open sunlight. Most people are very pleased with the versatility of Kentucky Bluegrass, as well as its disease resistance, adaptability, growth habits, texture, color, and shoot density. This has lead to the widespread acceptance and use of Kentucky Bluegrass as a turf species.

If you're planting a new lawn, or filling some thinning spots in your existing lawn, we carry a large supply of all League Master turf grasses: Kentucky bluegrass, Tall Fescue, Sunny Shade. We carry grasses to fit all of your planting needs. Application rates are 5lbs per 1000 square feet. For best results, light rake the new seed and roll with a heavy roller. This should produce a well-established new lawn.
